A useful target starts with a shared definition. The catalog includes 21 KPIs across recruitment, business development, activities, placements, and revenue. Your available choices depend on access and configuration.
Recruitment KPIs
| KPI | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Candidates added | New candidate profiles created during the period. |
| Jobs added | New job records created during the period. |
| Candidate applications | Candidate-to-job assignments created during the period. |
| Candidates shortlisted | Recorded events for the configured shortlisted milestone. |
| Candidates submitted | Recorded events for the configured submitted milestone. |
| First interviews | Recorded events for the configured first-interview milestone. |
| Final interviews | Recorded events for the configured final-interview milestone. |
| Offers made | Recorded events for the configured offer milestone. |
Applications are not unique people: one candidate may apply to several jobs. Stage-based KPIs describe recorded milestone activity, not simply the candidates currently sitting in that stage.
Business Development KPIs
| KPI | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Organizations added | New client Organization records created during the period. |
| Contacts added | New contact records created during the period. |
| Deals added | New deal records created during the period. |
These measure additions, not the current total number of records owned by a recruiter.
Activity KPIs
| KPI | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Activities added | Activity entries created during the period. |
| Calls added | Call-type activity entries created. |
| Meetings added | Meeting-type activity entries created. |
| Tasks added | Task-type activity entries created. |
| Emails added | Email-type activity entries created. |
| Interviews added | Interview-type activity entries created. |
These are logging measures. A task being added does not mean it was completed; a call entry does not prove a connected call; an interview entry does not prove attendance.
Use activity targets to encourage consistent CRM recording, while reviewing recruitment outcomes separately.
Placement and Revenue KPIs
| KPI | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Placements made | Recorded activity for the configured hired or placement milestone. |
| Deal value added | Value associated with eligible deals added during the period. |
| Placements billed | Eligible placements billed during the period. |
| Billing value | Eligible placement billing amounts during the period. |
Billed placement measures use billing dates, not the job’s creation date. Amount-based targets use the applicable account-currency rules; amounts in other currencies are not silently converted and added to that target.
Deal value added is not the same as weighted value in the current deal pipeline. Billing value is not a cash-collected target.
Choose a Fair Measure
For goals, use a small set of complementary KPIs rather than rewarding volume alone. For competitions, choose one clearly understood metric and comparable participants.
Check whether to include archived records before activation. Check attribution too: record ownership controls access, while many activity metrics credit the user who performed or recorded the event. Those are not always the same person.
If a hiring-stage metric is missing, ask your administrator to review Dashboard Metric Mappings. Renaming a stage does not by itself explain which business milestone the report should use. When several stages represent one milestone, each separate qualifying stage movement can count in an event-based KPI.
Explain the Target Before Tracking
Tell participants the KPI definition, dates, time zone, archive choice, and target direction. This avoids disputes such as treating logged interviews as completed interviews or treating applications as unique candidates.
FAQs
Does Emails added count all emails sent from ATZ CRM?
No. It counts email-type activity entries added. It is not a total of delivered emails or sequence sends.
Are Interviews added and First interviews the same KPI?
No. Interviews added counts interview-type activity entries. First interviews measures the configured hiring-stage milestone.
Why is a KPI unavailable or empty?
Availability depends on permissions and configuration. Stage KPIs also need the relevant hiring milestones configured by an administrator.
