Why Manage Candidate Profile Templates
Candidate profile templates keep candidate descriptions consistent and reduce repeated writing. They are especially helpful when recruiters need to prepare comparable summaries for account managers, hiring managers, or clients.
Create a Candidate Profile Template
- Open Admin Settings.
- Search for Candidate Profile Templates under Templates.
- Select New Candidate Profile Template.
- Add a clear template name.
- Write the template body using supported placeholders.
- Select Create.
Useful placeholders can include candidate fields such as first name, current position, or other supported profile data.
Set a Default Template
Use the default action when you want one template to apply automatically to newly created candidates.
Note: If no default template is set, recruiters can manually select a template while adding candidates.
Apply a Template While Creating Candidates
When adding a candidate, the default template can populate the candidate description automatically. If no default exists, choose a template from the profile template dropdown.
Edit a Candidate Profile Template
- Go to Admin Settings.
- Open Candidate Profile Templates.
- Select the template.
- Choose Edit.
- Update the content, placeholders, or formatting.
- Select Update.
Delete a Candidate Profile Template
- Open Candidate Profile Templates.
- Locate the template you want to remove.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm the action.
Before deleting, confirm the template is not the default and is not still used in an active workflow.
