How Opt-Out Works

Opt-out applies to all records linked to a specific email address. Once an email address is opted out, no further emails can be sent to that address unless communication is re-enabled.

  1. Compose an individual or bulk email.
  2. Check Include opt-out/unsubscribe link.
  3. Send the email.

When the recipient clicks the link, ATZ CRM marks them as Opted Out and shows an opt-out label on the profile.

Automatic Bulk Email Exclusion

Opted-out candidates and contacts are skipped during bulk email campaigns. You do not need to filter them manually.

Customize the Unsubscribe Button

Go to Admin Settings > Email Opt-Out Settings to customize or translate unsubscribe button text.

Manually Opt Out a Candidate or Contact

Open the candidate or contact profile, click the three-dot menu, and choose Opt-out of email.

Confirm the action in the pop-up. The record is marked opted out and email is blocked for that address.

Re-Enable Email Communication

Open the opted-out profile and click Remove opt-out from all emails or click the email address.

Confirm that you want to re-enable email communication. The opt-out label is removed.

Limitations

ATZ CRM does not currently support bulk opt-out actions. Opt-outs must be managed individually from profiles.
